What's up doc, can we rock?

So...hey.

Welcome to ESQUIRED TASTES, my latest attempt at something creative. Hopefully, in the coming months, this will be the place for you to gain an insight into my deepest thoughts and most intimate desires...okay, probably not. For the most part, this is probably where I'll park movie reviews and talk about sports, other things I like, and lob the occasional pithy comment your way.

A note about the title:

So, ESQUIRED TASTES. What's that about? Well, those of you who know me know that I attended law school at THE Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, actually graduated, and then miraculously passed the Ohio Bar on my first try. I am an attorney, but pretty much in name only. In the two years since I graduated, I haven't been able to nail down a steady job. I've gotten a good amount of soul-crushing temp lawyer work (which I may talk about at some point), but otherwise no real practice to speak of or anything like that.

Hopefully, that will change in the near future. But for now, I'm holding on to my one great accomplishment with two hands. I'm proud I finished law school, and the fact that I can put "Esquire" after my name tickles me to no end. So please, take it in the playful manner it is intended.
